Copic markers

nut brown hare

When my kids were little, one of my favorite books to read to them was Guess How Much I Love You by Sam McBratney, illustrated by Anita Jeram.

I just love those adorable nut brown hares. I recently found out that Colorado Craft Company has a line of stamps designed by the one and only, Anita Jeram! I ordered the Birthday Wishing set and now I can have some adorable bunnies on my own creations!

This little guy is so much fun to color. I used Copic markers here, and I can’t wait to try water color and colored pencils.

Thanks for stopping by. Join me again to shine a spotlight on creativity! And to my kids, and my granddaughter – I love you to the moon…and back!

Welcome to this week’s Paper Craft Crew challenge. I hope you are ready to play along. Challenges are a great place to start if your crafty mojo has taken a hiatus. They are also fun to play along when the creative juices are flowing. Either way, you should give it a try! Today’s card sketch would be a great way to start!

As soon as I saw this sketch, I knew what I wanted to do with it. I just got the fun Coming Home bundle from Stampin’ Up! and thought the tall house was perfect for this sketch.

I colored the house with my Copic markers. I really like coloring. I find it very relaxing. Do you like to color? What is your favorite medium to work with? Why not grab it and create your own project using this sketch. Be sure to upload it and share on the Paper Craft Crew blog! We would love to see your take on this week’s challenge.

celebrate sunflower

I have found that I really like to color. I have been practicing with Copic markers lately. I have drastically expanded my Copic collection and am LOVING them! I was really excited when Stampin’ Up! released the Celebrate Sunflowers set. It is a fantastic large image for coloring. This was my first project with that gorgeous flower.

I loved the shading I was able to get with my Copics. I think it looks great against the stark white background. I brought in some texture with the new Old World Paper 3D embossing folder.

I’m off to see what other great images I can find to color! Thanks for stopping by. Please join me again to shine a spotlight on creativity!
