snuggle bunny

Hi there, crafty friends! I wanted to pop on and share the card I made for my daughter celebrating her second Mother’s Day. I am absolutely smitten with the Colorado Craft Company sets designed by Anita Jeram. They are such fun to watercolor. I knew that this sweet bunny and baby had to be on her card.

I painted this with my new Daniel Smith watercolors. I need a lot more practice with these paints, but I already love them! I even added something special to the inside of the card.

Hello friends! Let’s check out this week’s Paper Craft Crew challenge!

For my card, I stayed pretty true to the layout except, I used a tag in place of the oval.

Black and white with a pop of bright pink is definitely on of my favorites! (check out my previous post!) I added some ink blending on the tag for an extra wow. Finish off with a few ribbons and rhinestones for added texture.

here for you now

I love black and white with a pop of bright color. Particularly a bright pink.

I used the new Color and Contour stamp set. Isn’t that flower fantastic!?! The Black and white striped dsp piece is from the Pattern Party DSP, which you can get with HOST REWARDS. The new In Color Polished Pink fit the bill perfectly for the pop of color. I colored the little rhinestones with Polished Pink Stampin’ Blends to carry on the touch of pink.

Hello friends! I’m glad you are here to check out this week’s Paper Craft Crew challenge: #simplestamping

I love a card with lots of texture and detail, but sometimes it is fun to stay simple. It really can pop just as much as something more. I had this adorable rainbow stamp set and die from The Stamp Market. It was perfect for this challenge.

I really like how the white space lets the colors of the rainbow and black text pop. Simple stamping would be great for your first Paper Craft Crew challenge! Come join the fun. Thanks for stopping by! Join me again to shine a spotlight on creativity!

stamp review crew: hand penned petals

Welcome, Crafty Friends, to today’s Stamp Review Crew blog hop! We are shining a spotlight on a fun new stamp set in the ’21-’22 Stampin’ Up! annual catalog – Hand Penned Petals. It is also part of the beautiful Hand Penned suite of products, which includes coordinating dies and Hand Penned DSP.

I took my inspiration from the Hand Penned DSP. I love the soft colors of the designer series paper and carried that over to some ink blending on the card base and die cut scalloped panel. I used blending brushes and Daffodil Delight, Highland Heather and Pool Party inks.

I highlighted the word “possible” with my Highland Heather Light Stampin’ Blends to help it stand out. A wonderful note of encouragement to share. Let’s go on and see what else is possible with this great stamp set! Head on over to Nikki by clicking the NEXT button below, or go back to Charlet by clicking the PREVIOUS button below.

osat blog hop: mash up

Hello friends! I’m am happy to be hopping with the One Stamp at a Time design team to share some creativity with you today. This month is the release of the NEW Stampin’ UP! annual catalog, so the OSAT team is bringing you a mash up blending old and new products.

For this card and gift box I used: new products Hand Penned Petals stamp set and coordinating dies, and Hand Penned and Pattern Party DSP, old products 2020-22 In Color Cinnamon Cider and Linen Thread.

I like the unexpected use of Cinnamon Cider for the florals, drawing from the same color in the DSP pattern.

I used the same general idea for the gift box, but used the Penned Flowers dies cut out of Cinnamon Cider card stock. I cut two of the floral image on top, glued the together except at the base which I folded out and adhered to the box top so it stands up.

Thanks for stopping by! Be sure to make your way through the complete blog hop for more awesome creativity!

Happy Mother’s Day!

A friend of mine wrote – “Whether you are a new mom, expectant mom, seasoned mom, or grieving mom, YOU are a MOTHER. It doesn’t matter if your child’s heart beats for 50 years, 5 months, or for 5 minutes…You are still a Mother. Some things we may never understand this side of heaven but one thing I know for certain is that God is sovereign and each life was created on purpose for a purpose.” – I though this was a beautiful thought for Mother’s Day. Moms – You are SO loved!
